Bayshore Friends

Connecting People in the Bayshore Area of the Jersey Shore

Young at Art began the summer of 1991 with a picnic blanket on the front lawn in Matawan NJ. It was not long before a small studio was created in the basement for table space and chairs to sit on. In 1996 Young at Art Studio moved to route 79 across from Charllie Browns. Anyone who entered the studio knew it was a special place to be. It consisted of items that were either found or donated. There was a sunshine painted bench that people would stop to sit on. There was a garden decorated with painted shells and rocks by children and an inspirational glowing sunflower. There was a wind chime at the door and happy faces all around. We had art exhibits with family and firends in the studio and in the parks. Music played and laughter echoed. Young at Art never went away, it only moved on. From the dining room table in Wyndham, in the backyard with easels and a tent, sitting in paint on the kitchen floor, summertime art at Indigo, to now a permanent home. Young at Art has been around for quite a while and welcomes your blessings for continued sucess.
