Connecting People in the Bayshore Area of the Jersey Shore

Hello, fellow business people!

This board looks so empty...let's get it started with some introductions, shall we?

My name is Rachael, and I'm the co-owner of Glass Slipper Weddings and Events, LLC. We're a full service event planning company specializing in unique weddings, hard-to-find vendors, and themed parties. As planners, we help our clients with anything they need to create their dream party: we advise on etiquette, help them devise a budget, create to-do timelines, negotiate prices with vendors, provide ideas for decorations and favors, and even run things from "behind the scenes" on the day of the event.

We have a website at www.GlassSlipperWeddings.com which explains more about what we can do and shows a little of our past work.

So...what do you all do? Are any of you members of other networking groups? Any advice for a new business owner in the Matawan area?

Hi, my name is Jake.... and I am the Director of Marketing/Public Relations for the Bayshore Brawlers. Not a paying job, but I just graduated High School and make my money doing various odd jobs besides this.

Well, I basically go around writing press releases, look for media outlets, and really anything else you can think of that can be done for a budget of $0. We have been quite sucessful though having been mentioned in newspapers, internet sites, and now radio.

Our website is www.bayshorebrawlers.com and in about aweek it will have A LOT more information and look a lot better. We play semi-pro football ( no player is payed) in the PFL/6. Basically, it's like arena football, but played in the burning heat of July and August. There is also no kicking. As the Director I am looking to try to get more involved with community as the years go by.

Well that's my story..... who is next?
